Yeah, well, I think part of the reason some people continue to shun me is because I shared. Some people will continue to believe what they want to believe about me, but I've decided that anything I have to say about Fandom will NOT be here or on LJ.
At the moment, I'm not sharing authors or works anywhere, but trust me when I say that when I move my website, perhaps not until the new year, and I'm then able to add a blog?
And I totally know where you're coming from! I certainly don't share badfic or comment on it on LJ these days. Then again, I tend to stay as far away from LJ as I can these days, venturing over only to add fic or participate in a few fic challenges.
I'm the opposite....because my LJ flist is composed now of a small group of trusted friends I vent on there and here on DW....I use Twitter and FB but that has family and non-fandom friends on it so I tend to keep my rants and bitching away from there...
I sometimes wish I could set up a completely anonymous blog to really lay into some of the idiots and arseholes in fandom....and I'm not just talking about writing, I'm talking about Convention behaviour, fanatical stalking both in real life and online and various fandom etiquette no-no's....
But I'm sure someone somewhere would recognise my style and a) be hurt, b) offended and c) attack me....so I don't.....have had my share of cyber stalking and bullying in the past and have no wish to a) become like that or b) attract any more than is necessary...

On LJ and DW, I would have to agree. I have a Wordpress account and when I've saved the money to transfer my website (which won't change addy, just the host), then I'll put my account on my website. Then I'll do my venting. I'm not one to shy away from pissing people off, as you know, but I've also mellowed a bit thanks to meds. I don't know how different I'd be on Wordpress compared to the loud & proud person I was when on the FDAS Yahoo group, but I can at least say that a blog is a horse of a different color. ;)
