Changing Website Themes
Sep. 15th, 2013 05:16 amI'm really getting annoyed with all the stuff I can't control with the template I bought, and there's this irritating habit of new page elements like menus and buttons not loading correctly.
So, I've been looking around at other Wordpress website theme makers. I've found one that's really awesome. It covers just about every form of customization. Regular Page layouts, too, such as a "story" layout, i.e., full page widths. That's better for writing out episode summaries. Right now, I have to design my own and that's ticking me off.
The new theme, called Deja Vu by mysitemyway.com, can be customized for darker colors, though I believe I'll keep with a light background, dark text. Anyway, it's really nice and $8 more than I paid for the one I currently have. Typical. But if I want the perks in a theme that let's me customize almost everything, I'm gonna have to pay a little more.
*sigh* Anyway, feedback on the new design, if you're so inclined to look, would be great.
