Yesterday in London at the Tower the last ceramic poppy went into the most beautiful and fitting tribute I've ever seen to The Fallen....I am so glad I was able to go up there a couple of weeks ago and pay my respects....
I think my icon is a tribute...it's where my mother in law lived in Belgium, and was born ....her stepfather fought in the WWI and suffered greatly from it's effects for the rest of his life, she was occupied in WWII and met her beloved English husband because he was stationed there in '44 after the DD Landings....
The Great War and WWII will not be forgotten by me or my family....
