Making Music Videos Is Above My Pay Grade

I tried using the standard Windows software. I'm a very lame video maker. I need an Idiot's Guide. I don't know what other software to use, what the best software for music vids is out there.

I wish I can just transfer the images/scenes in my head to the music I'm playing. It's *so* frustrating that I can't do that. ;)

For example, there's a song I've associated with Daniel since '98 or '99. It's an angsty, sad "teaching" song. If I could only transfer the "screenplay" in my head, it would be so awesome.

Actually, reading through that, it sounds perfect for a Daniel vid. I'd love you to be able to do it.
