It Ain't That Bad
A post-Beneath The Surface short story. Sam-centric. Genfic, but implied slash relationships, Sam/Janet and Jack/Daniel.

I had this need to write a Beneath The Surface episode tag, but every time I started the story, from either Jack's or Daniel's POV, it didn't sit well.  So I decided that perhaps it's time to hear Sam's side of the story. :)

LOVING the angst that this episode has thrown up over the past weeks in my fandom....this is a wonderful Sam character study....she is often portrayed so badly but I do find that some of the very best J/D writers like you and my fellow friends have a true handle on her ..


This is great....would very much like to be a voyeuristic fly on the wall during the almighty row and incendiary make up sex between Jack and Daniel though...


And yes, nice touch about Carlin.....all through that episode you knew he was still Daniel inside....
