Yep. Within relative walking distance. And to make a Stargate tie-in, (or sitcom tie-in) it's called Fraser's. Spelling notwithstanding. ;)

But sadly, I don't have the money to buy a coke while watching. I'm not partial to patroning a sports bar when I can't "give back" for the opportunity to watch. *sigh*

I couldn't wait. In the FAQ, there's a link under "Guides" for LJ users. Under that, it has a "tags and markup" page. You had it partly right. The only difference is that we won't use quotes around the description items, like the name of a user.

Separately, I like the theme I'm using (same as yours). I only wish I could play with it. I may switch to the black and white one -- after I mess around with alternate coloring. ;) I can't stand black background/white font. Gives me a headache. I'm not partial to the default theme, but at least you can change the coloring there, too. May play around with that later, too, and see what my tired brain comes up with. ;)
