I've been criticized today for my pragmatic attitude toward the Aurora, CO mass murder. I've always reacted to crisis this way. I want to fix things so the crisis doesn't get repeated.
Emotionally, I'm sickened, disgusted, and fucking pissed off. What the hell is it gonna take for We The People to stand up to the goddamn NRA psychopaths and tell them that the right to own a weapon is *not* a right to own murder weapons, i.e., automatic weapons. Those guns are used for murder, not self-defense or hunting. We The People do not need to pervert our 2nd Amendment. We need sense, not irrationality and greed.
Let's just remember that if We The People had reacted with sense and pragmatism, we wouldn't have had 2 illegal wars.
